Our story
Our Founding
In 2023, Nandana Menon pursued the opportunity of making a positive impact in her community. Through the development of her app, which is launching in September 2024, she established Autism Unity Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Autism as well as equipping caregivers, therapists, and doctors with with collaborative monitoring and configuration tools.
Our History
Founded in 2023, Autism Unity Initiative has been committed to making a difference in the lives of people in the community. We have grown and evolved over this past year, but our dedication to serving those in need has never wavered.
Our Programs
Offering in-person workshops at the South Fayette Library and online workshops over Zoom for parents and caregivers that features insights from PhD researchers and board-certified therapists. These workshops cover behavior management, communication strategies, and sensory integration techniques. Online sessions include live Q&As and recorded content for flexible access. Autism Unity Initiative offers a wide range of programs to assist those in need, ensuring that we are meeting the changing needs of our community.
